The town of Taos is badly overrun with yuppies. The pueblo is several miles north of town. At left is the church in the pueblo. Below are views of the pueblo.

Taos Pueblo is the quintessential southwestern pueblo, and a claimant to the title of oldest continuously inhabited place in the United States (the others being Acoma, also in New Mexico, and Oraibi in Arizona.
