Namur Drumlin

Steven Dutch, Professor Emeritus, Natural and Applied Sciences, University of Wisconsin - Green Bay

W 1/2 SW1/4 Sec 12, T26N R23E.
A prominent isolated hill just northeast of a right-angle bend in State Highway 54, about 3 km west of Brussels.
Seen from the west along Pit Road. In all the best views we look along the gentle downstream tail of the drumlin. The prominent stone pile suggests that the drumlin is rock-cored; that is, the drumlin was sculpted around a bedrock outcrop.
A view from the south along Highway 57.
A view from the southeast on Highway 57.
