In April, 1997 strong winds resulted in spectacular ice shoves in a number of areas, especially at Shoemaker Point north of Dyckesville. The photos here were taken April 7 (sunset) and 8, 1997. |
The tree spoils the middle image, but the other two would make perfect backdrops for a sci-fi movie set on Pluto.
