Gibbs Island is a small island off the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. It's only about ten miles long, two miles wide at the widest, and 1500 feet high, but most of it is covered with ice. Here ice is flowing out of the ice-covered interior of the island into to the sea.

Location 61o 27' 44" S, 55o 32' 12" W.
